Book 1 of 52 Complete

My goal for 2012 is to read a book a week.  This one took me a week longer than I expected so I'm already behind a week, but I figure I'll catch up with a couple of cheesy romance novels or a Stephanie Plum bounty hunter book.  It was worth it to fall behind.  But I can't let myself read The Girl who Kicked the Hornet's Nest until I am two weeks ahead.  Planning at it's best. :)

Freeze Time

I hope he always looks at me like I'm this cool.  Even when he's sixteen. A girl can dream right?

Snuggled Up

I made Brantley this blanket the other day while we were in Louisiana. When we got home and I unpacked, I hung it over the side of his crib. When I went to check on him before going to bed, he was curled up against it like this. This is big because he hates being covered up with blankets and doesn't have much to do with them. The fact that he pulled it into his crib to snuggle with made me smile.

Love this.

About to go to sleep but I had to document this. Reached to turn off the light and noticed Brantley's dump truck "parked" by our bedroom door. Pre-child the thought of toys throughout my house was unthinkable. Now, they are the norm and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I love that he has run over my toes many times running this truck up and down the hall way. I love that he screams go go go  as he pushes behind it. I love everything about this truck and what it means to my little boy.

Reading Books Together

In an attempt to document more of our every day lives in 2012, I am going to be posting more regularly on our blogs this year. Small glimpses in to the everyday kind of stuff.

Tonight after their baths Kinley and Brantley sat in the floor and read books together. So sweet! We have had such a great trip.
