Starting Point

You have to start somewhere. Working on shaving time off this number and training for my first 5k (well besides the one I ran against my will with my brother when I was eighteen - in which I walked for majority of it and was passed by a grandma aged woman on crutches - definite low point in my life). There is a race in dacula in march that I'm signing up for. No excuses!

I've Missed Him

I can't even begin to describe how much I have missed this munchkin this week. He is so much fun at this age and I can't get enough of him. Looking forward to spending time with him this weekend!

Reading Books at All Costs

The other night we were winding Brantley down for bed - which is usually accomplished with reading books together. I had an awful headache so I laid on his floor in his room with my eyes closed while Craig did the book reading. He loves crawling up in my lap and handing me books. The next thing I knew he was sitting on my face with his book in his hand. I was not getting out of book reading duty that night if he had any say in it.

Obsession

My child loves his cars. Life is not right if he does not have his cars in his hands. And don't try to trick him by only giving him two cars. He knows there are three. One for one hand and somehow he gets two in his other hand. Eating, bathing, and bedtime have suddenly become a challenge because they do not involve cars. It is a tragedy. I love this kid and his obsessive personality. :)

Loved and Lost

They say it is better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all. I think "they" are crazy. I know there are other houses out there and I need to move on from this one but for the sake of documenting it - this house and I would have been great together.

Book 1 of 52 Complete

My goal for 2012 is to read a book a week.  This one took me a week longer than I expected so I'm already behind a week, but I figure I'll catch up with a couple of cheesy romance novels or a Stephanie Plum bounty hunter book.  It was worth it to fall behind.  But I can't let myself read The Girl who Kicked the Hornet's Nest until I am two weeks ahead.  Planning at it's best. :)
